about

A concoction of soulful vocals, laced with raging guitars and thunderous beats. Shrines has been tucked away playing only a handful of shows locally over two years. While the trio has kept a low profile, the sound is polished with an innovative mix of influences from each member. Their debut self-titled EP is long overdue but also marks a hiatus for the band.

Track Name: Assassinations
A blackened sunrise covered your eyes, and it's like tonight mistaken lies
Oh, assassinations
Hearts have dropped now it seems to move, no more shelter telling you the truth
Oh, constellations

In your eyes, helping you to decide for yourself
Yeeahh

Pastel skies in the field, where you felt you needed to live
Interpretations
Another high on your face, galaxies true meanings, my black lace
Oh, limitations

In your eyes, helping you to decide for yourself
And planets align
Helping you to define your own life
Yeeah

A blackened moonrise has covered my mind, and I've got two nights of tired eyes
Oh, assassinations
Sun has dropped now, it seems to move, so much more killing to do
Oh, elimination

In your mind, helping you to decide for yourself
And planets align, helping you to define your own life
Track Name: Soulless
Now we don't have much soul, you know
But I can feel that it's glowing golder
'Cos in your eyes, I can see time has gone away
It's stuck in the past with only lame things, to say

Now we don't have much heart, you know
But I can feel the vision has somewhat gone
'Cos in your ribcage, you can hear your lungs die away
And 'cos you like Ted Bundy, on those days
